Finchem Hits Back at Cheney for Running Ad Urging Arizonans Not to Vote for GOP Candidates

Arizona Secretary of State Republican nominee Mark Finchem fired back at Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) on Friday, calling both the congresswoman and her father, former Vice President Dick Cheney, “war mongers” after her PAC —The Great Task — ran a new ad, attacking him and gubernatorial Republican nominee Kari Lake.

In the 30 second political smear ad, Cheney claimed in part, “I don’t know that I have ever voted for a Democrat. But if I lived in Arizona, I absolutely would.”

“You have a candidate for Governor, Kari Lake, you have a candidate for Secretary of State, Mark Finchem, both of whom have said that they will only honor the results of an election if they agree with it,” Cheney also says in the ad, appearing to bend the truth.

Responding to Cheney’s ad, Finchem hit back at the disgraced congresswoman, accusing her and her father of being “warmongers” who have “been hostile to Arizonans for decades”.

“Liz Cheney & her hunting pro dad Dick Cheney are warmongers who’ve been hostile to Arizonans for decades,” he wrote on Twitter.

“They’re responsible for trillions of dollars wasted & millions of deaths & wounded Americans during their nation building exploits. They got rich with Halliburton & the MIC,” Finchem said.
