Arizona state representative Mark Finchem has opened up a six point lead over his Democrat opponent in the secretary of state race that will be decided by the voters in November.
The new poll, conducted by the Trafalgar Group, shows Finchem with 47.5 percent support while his opponent, former Maricopa County Recorder Adrian Fontes, has 41.1 percent support. 11.4 percent of the voters remain undecided.

“A new poll from The Trafalgar Group shows Trump-endorsed State Representative Mark Finchem (R-Oro Valley), who is running for Arizona secretary of state, more than six points ahead of his opponent, Democratic former Maricopa County Recorder Adrian Fontes. Conducted between September 14 and 17, the survey of 1,080 likely voters by the Republican-aligned pollster found that 47.5 percent chose Finchem and 41.1 percent chose Fontes.”

Just under two months out from election day, a Trafalgar Group poll of likely voters shows Finchem leading Fontes by a more than 6-point margin. Of the poll’s respondents, 47.5% of them say that if the election were held today, they’d vote for Mark Finchem, while 41.1% of them say they’d support Adrian Fontes.”
