Shut-down Show-down

People are eager to return to work after 4-weeks of government-imposed shut-down of business. Questions swirl around the briefing that Governor Ducey gave Arizonans yesterday (4/22/20) and how Arizona business and residents have been asked to sacrifice for the objective of improving public health. The statistical review made little mention of societal, economic, or social impacts of our States response to the CCP Virus.

It was clear that the original goal has been altered, from flattening the curve with focus on reducing pressure on critical care …

Natural Rights v. Civil Rights

America is at war with itself over the meaning of words, and the consequences are more serious than most people can imagine. If you don’t know what origins of your rights are, and what rights you possess how can you defend them? Those who are defending them — as in downrange in a combat zone particularly — have to be asking themselves, we’ve put our lives on the line, which has driven PTSD for so many, for what? PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) comes from …

Teach Children To Love America, Not Hate It

Teach Children To Love America, Not Hate It

We endure a steady stream of propaganda from local news papers all the way up to “main stream” media decrying how bad America has been in the past and how bad it is today.  Yet, we see a never ending stream of immigrants from nations all over the world coming to America for two reasons.  One is to have a better life than the nation they hail from; the other is to turn America into a nation similar to the waste land they come from.

What is the Meaning of an Oath?

What is the Meaning of an Oath?

All elected officials take an oath of office.  In every instance that I know of the Oath speaks to the Supremacy Clause of the Constitution of the united States, and the commitment of the office holder to “protect and defend the Constitution of the united States, and of this state against all enemies foreign and domestic.”  I doubt that any of my peers take the oath lightly, but I question if some understand what it says.

This oath does not have an expiration date, nor does it …

Can Values Voters Seize Control of Their Government?

Can Values Voters Seize Control of Their Government?

The article below is reprinted in it’s entirety from WND because it is spot on analysis, it points to the serious problem we, the value voters have at hand.

The establishment GOP will not listen to the grass roots, values voters.  Why?  Because the GOP establishment actually believes it was their work that won the election for conservative Republicans November 2014.  What the GOP is missing is the votes for principled representation were not for “go-along to get-along” power brokering.

In my humble opinion, after the Christmas …
